It all started with my dream of having a dairy cow — not to start a business, but to fill our kitchen with the kind of fresh, wholesome goodness I love to create. Butter, cheese, cream… everything tastes better when it’s fresh from the source. Before long, friends and family were lining up at our door, eager for a taste of milk that was as close to the pasture as you can get.
That’s when we realized this wasn’t just about one cow anymore. We began growing our herd, focusing on cows that naturally produce pure A2/A2 milk — milk known for its creamy flavor and gentler digestion. Along the way, we added pasture-raised hens to the mix, giving our customers eggs with golden yolks and unmatched flavor.
Today, Barron’s Sweet Cream Dairy is our way of sharing that same farm-fresh quality with our community. From our pastures in New Waverly, Texas, to your table, every bottle of milk and every carton of eggs is produced with care, respect for our animals, and a love for good food made right.

Raw A2/A2 milk comes from cows that naturally produce only the A2 beta-casein protein, rather than the mix of A1 and A2 proteins found in most regular milk. Many people choose it because they enjoy its rich, creamy flavor and say they find it easier to enjoy than conventional milk. Our milk is “raw,” meaning it is not pasteurized — we bottle it fresh on our farm so you can experience it just as nature intended.
Required Texas Raw Milk Notice: Raw milk is not pasteurized and may contain harmful bacteria. Raw milk should be consumed by healthy individuals and may cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.

A2/A2 milk comes from cows that naturally produce only the A2 beta-casein protein, instead of the mix of A1 and A2 proteins found in most regular milk. While we can’t make medical claims, many of our customers choose it because they enjoy its creamy taste and say they feel more comfortable drinking it compared to conventional milk. Our A2/A2 milk is also raw, meaning it’s not pasteurized and is bottled fresh from our pasture-raised cows for the fullest flavor.

We bottle our raw A2/A2 milk in reusable glass bottles to preserve its fresh flavor and reduce waste. Glass helps keep the milk colder and tasting just as creamy as the moment it left the cow. We ask customers to return their empty bottles so we can sanitize and reuse them — it’s better for the milk, the planet, and our farm.
